As She Crooned a Little Lie

As the woman moved sexily across the stage, her lips told little lies that her eyes said were untrue. I wanted so badly to block out those half-truths and falsehoods, but I could not help but be drawn in to the fantasy they created. That was my first mistake. The second? Another story for another time.
